Mission Statement

Lake County Extension Foundation, Inc. is the fund-raising arm of the University of Illinois Extension, Lake County.  Lake County Extension Foundation supports Extension with an annual grant to support exceptional quality educational programs and workshops for Lake County residents.

The Lake County Extension Foundation provides funding for the promotion of programs in the areas of agriculture, horticulture; 4-H and other youth work; and in nutrition/wellness.  During 2005, over 40,000 residents of Lake County were reached by the University of Illinois Extension!
